NorthStar Rails to Trails
The 25 km long NorthStar Rails to Trails, a joint development between the City of Cranbrook and the City of Kimberley links the two communities on a former CP railway bed converted into a paved trail for walking, running, biking, and blading. This year round, multi-use (non-motorized only) trail offers gentle grades in both directions allowing for families to enjoy the spectacular views of the Steeples range, the St. Mary’s River, and the Purcell range.
The trail is also part of the proposed Trans Canada Trail network.
